The chashu pork, which is one of Fukushima ramen’s most popular dishes, is also soaked in the soup and has a tender texture. It is a must-try dish with a strong meaty flavor.

Located along Asakusa Kokusai-dori Avenue, this ramen restaurant is popular for its pork bone-based soup. The soup, which has won an award in the Tonkotsu category of the Ramen Awards, is a type with a strong pork bone assertiveness reminiscent of the authentic taste. Recently, mild tonkotsu-based soups that have been updated to suit the palates of Tokyoites have become popular, but we feel that the restaurant’s style is not influenced by the times.

Adding cabbage as a topping makes it healthier, and you can enjoy the rich tonkotsu soup with a light touch!

Thick and rich ramen is no longer the most popular type of ramen. As Asakusa is a tourist town, there is a wide variety of ramen restaurants in the area.

Located on the right across from the Asakusa View Hotel, this restaurant is known for its soy sauce ramen. You can choose between light and fatty soy sauce ramen. The soup has a refined flavor of dried bonito and niboshi (dried sardines), and even when the soup is light, the original ingredients are satisfying.

Another key point is that the noodles used are changed depending on the menu. Please repeat to find your favorite!

This long-established ramen restaurant is located in Nishi Asakusa, about a 2-minute walk from Tsukuba EXP Asakusa Station. What is noteworthy is the addictive taste of the soup. The simple yet refreshing soy sauce soup has a unique character, and is a drink that can be consumed in its entirety. The medium-thick, frizzy noodles also add to the flavor, and the savory soy sauce and rich wheat aroma spreads in your mouth.

The homemade shumai with its sticky skin is also a popular menu item, full of flavorful meat. Please enjoy the ultimate in authenticity!

Conveniently located about a 1-minute walk from Exit 1 of Asakusa Station on the Ginza Subway Line.

The clean interior is easy for women to enter. The logs used as chairs are full of playfulness!

This restaurant specializes in Toripaitan ramen. The flavor of the ingredients, which are made by slowly simmering chicken and vegetables, and the collagen-rich toripaitan soup are a perfect match.

Toppings include nori (seaweed) and shichimi (seven spices), Asakusa’s specialty! You can see the store’s attention to detail in the toppings and seasonings!

This restaurant is located on Kototoi Street, where you can see the Sky Tree, and the street is said to be Asakusa’s “battleground” for ramen! It is a popular tonkotsu (pork bone) ramen restaurant even in this fierce battle zone.

You can enjoy authentic Hakata tonkotsu ramen. It tastes as if you are eating at an authentic Hakata yatai (food stall)!

We also recommend the “boiled pork rice” with plenty of slow-cooked pork chashu (pork belly) as a side dish. Please try it!

The soup is mainly chicken with some seafood and other tastes. The broth is thick. The soy sauce soup is fragrant and mildly salty. This may be the reason why the soup is so delicious, as if it naturally permeates your body. The water itself is also very tasty.

The noodles are thick and hand-rubbed. The sweetness is very strong and delicious. (You can also choose thin noodles).

The lotus root has a pleasant crunchy texture and I like the seasoning.

The bamboo shoots are firm, not stringy, and well seasoned.

There are two kinds of fried pork chops: one is cooked at a low temperature and has a moist texture and delicious flavor.

The other is grilled on one side until crispy just before serving, and is well seasoned. The savory flavor accents the soup.

The leek also works well as a condiment.

The “Iwateyama Futago Tamago (egg) Ramen” topped with an egg with two yolks, boiled for eight minutes and flavored, is very popular. The soy sauce ramen in a Japanese-style broth with the aroma of yuzu (Japanese citron) is light but tasty and full of flavor.
